Back from Deployment

Oh Yes i'm back from the 1 week deployment. Supposingly bk out on tuesday night de but due to forseeable circumstances when sai kang hit the fan and just kena me, i bo bian need to stay back for an additional day to do it =X Anyway deployment was pretty slack, i think i got fatter day by day with the supper, delivery and lack of exercise. But it was fun in a way when we gt to play soccer during weekends, interaction between the men and commanders =) Honestly i miss the gym! I had not been going there for 1 month + le since the H1N1 outbreak. Yesterday popped over to the gym to find out that we are still being ban from the gym, hai... i miss the chest press machine =.=

So yesterday book out le went with clarence for dinner at Hong Kong Cafe. He also kena sai kang to stay back with me wahahaha. Me with uler stupid stupid go order curry ramen. Eat until tears come out =X But it was delicious =D After that met up with Mas my ASLC mate for his nights out, caught the movie The Haunting In Connecticut. After the movie was dessert at Gelare then home sweet home for me =)

Yup i'm out, haha, the quarantine was finally lifted so no more 3 weeks confinement. But still next week will be going for deployment so gonna miss the weekend, but nt as bad as 3 week confinement ba haha. Anyway book out le also sian, stay at home, but got the rest i needed, some peace and quiet =)

Suddenly feel that i really need a car licence now, i should stop procrastinating and work towards one . Can someone just scold me until i put the plan into action, if not i'm just too lazy le la. Just feeling random, bleah...

15th Grand Slam, Record Holder - Roger Federer

Hoho, yesterday watched one of the most thrilling match ever, Roger Federer against Andy Roddick for the Wimbledon Men's Single Champion. It was a match full of twist and a test of character. Andy Roddick was leading by one set and look set for another set at 5-2 until Roger federer battle all the way back to make it 6-8. After that was one set each to make a tie for them. The decider at Set 5 was the climax. Both of them gave it their all but in the end Federer manage to hang on for the win. Credits to him for his record 15th grand slam title. I do feel for Roddcik as this is his third time losing at the final to federer. But fantastic sportmanship he displayed on giving Federer a hard time before he win it. Hahaha, thrilling match!!!

Woohoo, Watched Ice Age 3, Transformers 2, Marley & Me, Night in the Museum 2, Angels & Demons and UP. 6 Movie for this few day haha, but still can't make up for the 3 week confinement i'm gonna suffer =.=". Just think of it sian liao, hai...

Orchard - Simpang

Yest went to Orchard with Soo Guan, Fazillah, Lina and Yi Hui for SHOPPING!! ITS GSS!! ITS THE SEASON OF SPENDING!!! hahaha, but i didn't get anything for myself LOL. Walked damn alot until my leg hurts. If 32 km route march is next week i'm so gonna die, Haha. After the shopping which yielded in items not meant for me, went over to Mac for a quick bite b4 everybody go home. Tried their new chic and cheese burger, to me its just mac chicken minus the cabbage and mayo, replaced with cheese. WASTE my $$!!

Oh did i say i met alot of people yest, in fact too much coincidence for a day. (My friend network quite small de) I boarded the train at Simei Mrt to go orchard and met Saleem in the train. How lucky can you get to catch your friend from Pasir Ris taking a train at the correct timing at the correct door without arranging to meet up first. O.O Lol, he was on the way to Vivo to catch Transformers which i had already watched =D Upon reaching Orchard called Lina and met them at Far East, they were lining up to buy some snacks, so while waiting for their food, Alvin walked pass me with his GF O.o His GF also wanted to line up for the Shi Lin Chicken LOLS. So after bumping into Saleem and Alvin, i was thinking see them in camp still not enough, go outside still must bump into them, LOL. So proceeded for project shopping, and while walking around, saw Alex my ex-colleague from Escape o.O Hahaha, and to round it up, saw my ex-lecturer from TP near Mango opposite Far East, the malay lecturer that was damn noisy for the Major Project showcasing during rehersal, i think onli Louis will had impression haha.

After the shopping trip, i proceeded to meet up with the animals at Simpang for supper. Only yesterday do i realise Fazillah actually lived at the block beside YS, haha, becoz was going over to YS house first coz they haven reach yet and knowing them like to late, not good to go over oo early too =X So went YS house relac awhile, then went simpang to makan. It was my first time there but i find the food ok onli lei, Alazar better haha. Even when serving drinks they take very long, around 20 min. Freaking turn off!!! But still it was a gd supper with my Nasi Kampung, Chocolate tissue Prata and Ice Limau. My mum still gave me a call say they left Geylang Fried Oyster for me at home XD shiokness!!! it would be 3 weeks later till i taste such gd food so must ENJOY!!!!

Movie Marathon

Movie Marathon baby. Ice Age 3, Transformers Revenge of the Fallen, Marley and Me and Drag me to hell. Woohoo, Shiok man, to be able to catch current blockbusters and movie that i miss while in camp is damn shiok. Goona watch Night in MUseum and Angels and Demons later on. Wahaha, Movie Marathon shall continue before i get confine. Damn!!

Anyway its confirm Michael Owen has joined Man Utd. Its definitely a decent swoop if he justify his signing, score goals and not get injured. Keeping my fingers crossed!!! But i definitely hope to see more signing coming over!!!

Ice Age 3

Yest went out with Nicholas to catch up. For your information Nic is my only primary school friend left in contact, 12 years of friendship le, dating back from Primary 2 days. I may still have some of my other primary school friend contact on facebook, but we aren't close at all, Such a pity haha.

Anyway went out with him to catch up on stuff, he is gonna go NUS next month onwards to study mechanical engineering, Good Luck to him men, ORD so much earlier than me, make me envious onli. So went on to catch Ice Age 3 which was a good movie, notice that there is alot of angmoh kids around, and i mean really alot. There were also alot of school kids around in civi wear with buldging bags, no doubt their uniform is hidden in their bags haha.

Soccer news nowadays had been so demoralizing. Ronaldo moving to Real Madrid, Kaka moving to real madrid, Benzema moving to real madrid, and now Ribery wants to move there too. As a Manchester United fan, i wasn't really sad that ronaldo is going to real madrid as it got Manchester a tidy sum. Ronaldo heart isn't at the club already so there is no point in keeping him. But what piss me off is all the top players are now flocking to Real Madrid. Now all the top stars are there while Manchester can't seem to attract anyone. This is really demoralizing! the players that Manchester wants are being sign by real madrid, Kaka, Benzema and now Ribery states he will only move to real madrid and nowhere else. This effectively close the door on Manchester approach.. Reports now state that Manchester may be signing Michael Owen, it would be good if he doesn't injure himself again, if it persist, i really does see a problem with Manchester forward line if they doesn't sign anyone substantial to fill the gap. The departure of tevez and ronaldo had left a really big hole. Lets hope Machester do sign someone fast.

Holiday too short liao la, today is friday le lo. Sian. Hope tmr wil hav the 85 supper with the animals and shopping tmr!! YESH!! haha and then will be 3 weeks of confinement, DAMN!!

H1N1

Finally back from camp after 9 days Confinement! Due to the stupid H1N1 case. Now Maju Camp had become a "Cluster" of H1N1 outbreak. Gave me so much trouble, can't book out and loads of inconveniences. Lucky gt PSP in camp if not i'm DEAD!!!

Anyway last Sunday b4 book in went out with the animals and catch the movie "Ghost of Girlfriend's Past". It was a great movie that i thoroughly enjoy, definitely better than some "Land of the Lost" hahaha. After the movie went to had dinner at "Manhatten Fish Market" Great dinner wahahaha. Lucky went to eat smth nice b4 booking in the kena quarantine =X

After the dinner popped over to Bugis to shop coz its GSS!!! In the end got myself two bermudas at $28!!!! Definitely a steal and it could easilt cost double the price at other days. wahahaha so happy!!

I'm off till this coming monday then will be confined for 3 weeks straight b4 booking out again. so better chio me out nw ppl!!! i wanna go 85 and shopping!! =X

11 month solider

10/06/09 marks the halfway mark of my NS life. I'm halfway there now, can't wait for another 11 months later when i officially ORD on 09/05/10. =)

Anyway, pretty eventful week, finally went back to my gym schedule, had been neglecting it last week and i can feel it =( Glad that the exercises are back on track but its gonna be a really hectic week coming up. ROC people back in coy and COS duty + Mock Intrusion. When next friday comes I will be a happy man =)

Gt a watch with my 6SIR bunkmates for Gary the "Gay" Its an ESPIRIT watch thats pretty cool and elegant, black and gold colour, Nice!!! He is pretty stunn about it but that doesn't stop him from shooting his mouth off on the wrong things. LOL. Went to one of the cafe at Sunset way to had deserts and it was so filling we forgo the dinner haha. i really like my Peaberry Chocolate cake but hearts Thena's chocolate overloaded even more. Eventhough the glucose level abit high, but once a month shouldn't hurt =)Oh ya Jun teck's GF Vanessa joined us at the cafe, she was very sociable which cuts off the awkwardness i thought will comes lol.

Yesterday was the mono intake for some of the coy in my camp. Saw the boys coming in with their parents for enlistment. Thought back of the days when i report to tekong for my enlistment. The memory was really bitter and i'm quite glad i made it through the xiong part already. COS duty next week sure kena arrow like crazy one, will try to deflect but i dun think will work hard so gd luck to me ba.

2 days off

2 days off =D

Had been so sick for the past few days, flu, fever, sore throat and cough. One time jialat jialat came to me, worst thing is i can't take MC if not risk repeating the course. Good timing ya, haha. Anyway nothing much this few day also, gt no plans also, so decided to clear off so can rest at home =)

Last week went to watch Star Trek with the 6sir peeps. I wasn't interested in the movie at all and made alot of "noise". But in the end still went for it and WOW great movie. HAHA. Thena and Clarence was so proud for being the one who suggested the movie and was so smug abt it. It prompted me to question them whether they are the director for the movies, lol. That shut them up haha.

This month had been a high expenses month, money flowing away faster than i blink. Staying out for the duration of the course isn't helping matters too. More birthdays coming up too =.=" Next month is also proving to be a very packed month too, birthday, outing and sentosa =)

Will be rotting at home and 85 later with MP 24 =)

woohoo, weekends are packed to the MAX! Good in a way I get to enjoy, bad in a way the money keeps flying away =(

last sunday went to EHUB to meet AF for YS's belated birthday celebration at KBOX. The timing given was from 2-7, in the end we keep singing coz they didn't chase us out after seven so i sang until 9 then departed coz gt to book in =.=" Sian la!!!!

In camp keep doing rehearsal for Mock Intrusion show for the NIE and CJC visit. I got to say it was damn tiring but in the end it went quite smoothly =) And i got a few days off just for that ;)

I'm glad i had settle my TP fees payment. Decided to pay CPF the lump sum coz i'm not comfortable with deferment and seeing the interest keep jumping. So paid the lump sum and a big hole in my bank account. But i would need to pay it sooner or later so just settle it early ba.

Saturady medt up with tp friends to go Sentosa. Was kinda looking forward to the trip de but in the end not much people went. So in the end left with Lina, Yi Hui, Soo Guan, Yong Ming and me. But still we had fun with the water and sun. Had a tan but it wasn't an even shade so there will be another trip coming up next month. Hopefully i will see more people coming along =) Oh people please look at the promotions before u make your purchase at Subway. Apparently not all sandwiches are entitled to the 5.90 offer. Only selected sandwiches!!! Soo Guan learn it the hard way today while i heng heng order the promo sandwich haha.

Changed to this simple skin, kinda reflect me in my current state of life, simple me, simple life, simply simple~~

Watched a show on Animal Planet called "Groomer has it". It features a group of Pet groomers getting together to pit their pet grooming skills against each other. Every week they will disqualify the groomer that performs the worst until the final 2 groomer standing then they will have a showdown to decide the winner. Watching the show really brought out the love for animals in me. I had always wanted to had a pet dog but my parents thought otherwise. I know taking care of a pet requires lots of time, patience and effort, which i can't afford now, so it would also be unfair for the animal too. Watching the contestant in the show grooming the dogs , the effort they put in and the pride they take in their work. Their love for the animals had really influenced or touched me. This had set me wondering if i should pursue a career working with animals. Working as a pet groomer, or a nutrition in the zoo or just as a zookeeper? Had i told anyone my childhood dream was to be a Zookeeper? To work with animals all day long. hahaha, that was in Primary one, i can never forget my first visit to the zoo in Primary one with my school. Since that visit, i would bug my mum to bring me to the zoo once every two years. Even until now when i'm old enough, i still make regular visit to the zoo to check them out. The animals may be the same, but i still enjoy looking at them haha silly me.

Did i mention the girls commented i look more muscular and fitter now during yesterday outing. oops.. seems like the gym session are worth it =X Wahahaha

yay happy labour day!

Booked out on Thursday for a long weekend that i thoroughly deserve. Today went over to yipeng's house at woodlands for yibing's "birthday" celebration. Some traditional event for kids that reach a certain age and is considered grown up. So went over in the morning with my parents, it was nice seeing Yipeng there, chatted with him for awhile before leaving at 4 to look up the girls (Janice, YS, Wendy and Jaime) in town. The girls had a really fruitful day, magazines, comics, cardigans, dress, watches, stockings and wallets. woohoo, too bad i had already overbudget for this month =X

Headed over to 85 for dinner after the shopping. Pork porridge, carrot cake, fried oyster, minced meat noodle, wu xiang and ice coke. Great dinner!! It was a great day out with the girls amidst the dull life of booking in and out for the past few weeks. Next up will be YS birthday celebration!!

After numerous fruitless attempt to infiltrate Uniqlo, i finally conquer it today! LOL.

I woke up at 4.30am to make preparations for the WOSPEC run held at West Coast Park at 7AM. In order to reach there on time, i need to take the FIRST bus to Tampines MRT Station then immediately take the earliest MRT to Clementi station. Kinda irritated by the event, whats more it is held on a Saturday morning =.=" But luckily for me Clarence rang me up and offered to send Gary, Saleem and me there courtesy of his friend. So we got a free ride to West Coast reaching at 6.30am, with ample time to consume our breakfast at the Mac there which also happens to be the gathering point. The WOSPEC run commenced at about 8.15am, thanks to the warm up and the PT tekan session by our RSM before the run. It was a 5km run at a comfortable pace that wasn't really challenging and i find rather slow. After the run there was the ice cold soyabean that everybody snatch and went out within 20 minutes. Thats Singapore soldier! LOL. Then there was a talk by RSM, collecting of breakfast, forced to stay awhile more, then the cue to escape came, i just grab my bag and went off!

Gary, Saleem, Jestyn and me decided to try our luck at Uniqlo again, since the sale is ending soon and it would be a waste not to take advantage of the opening sale. Reached there at 10.50 and the queue is already snaking into the toilet. Immediately queue up and fortunately make it into the shop as the second wave allowed in. I was kinda disappointed by the tees there as i couldn't find any that interest me, most probably the nice ones were already snapped up by earlier shoppers. In the end i got myself a red colour skinny jeans and a Polo. Too bad the jeans can only be collected on the 29th due to the long queue for alteration. Nevertheless I'm glad i managed to get the jeans i was aiming for but still kinda disappointed by the range on offers. I'm sure if i made it for the sale last week i could had got more stuff, but never mind, save money!

Updates for past week~~

Attended Avril's 21st birthday at NSRCC last Sunday. In actual age she may be 21 le, but she still act like a 15 year old kid lol. Met up with Yi Hui before heading over, her relative and si hui were already there when we arrived. Its like she won't grow old de lo, still look like 15 years old. HAHA anyway we helped ourself with the food and entertain ourself by watching them play Nintendo Wii, especially fun seeing Si Hui play LOL. Sut, Jia hao, Li te came soon after. Jia hao showed us his super funny Police pass haha, li te slim down le and SUT now admin Spec (chao keng). It was fun seeing the guys again, brought back the good old days =) Anyway i'm sure Avril enjoyed herself on her special day with her family and loved ones, wish her all the best for whatever in store for her next =)

Wendy belated 21st birthday

hi ppl, its been a really long while since i blogged. I'm still surviving well in 6SIR no worries, but i gt a really bad feeling that something will happen to me in 6SIR soon lol. Bad Omen bad omen. Anyway i just came back from celebrating Wendy's belated 21st bday celebration. It was really very belated wahahaha. Anyway met the peeps at 12.30 at Sakae, the one located at Dhoby Ghaut. We ordered 6 Student Buffet WAHAHAHA. I presented my TP Alumni card to enjoy the buffet lol. Had a really fulfilling lunch that consisted loads of Soft Shell Crab haha. Stuffed myself so much that when i left the place i was so full i couldn't walk properly lol.

After the "Student" buffet, we went over to PS to check out the movies. Upon seeing the long queue, the girls decided to go arcade to play basketball. I wasn't really a fan of arcade so just watch them play, fun though, seeing the basketball flying around haha. Headed over to StarBucks next but it was full, went over to Cathay and it was full as well. In the end we settled ourself at Ben and Jerry to chill. I intended to order the Mochachillos but it wasn't available, so got to made do with the Ice cream Smoothie "Mocha Brownie Blast" It tasted great though, just that the coffee wasn't as strong as i wanted. We decided to watch "Race to Witch Mountain" at 7.40 so headed over back to PS to walk around as there wasn't much stuff at Cathay. Janice and KB crashed the arcade again and they had so much fun haha. In the end we got to rush back to Cathay for the movie and fortunately we were just in time. The movie was great in my opinion, occasional cracker that got me laughing my ass off haha. After the movie was home sweet home for me.

Last week had a belated birthday celebration for Louis at Manhatten Fish Market. It was great meeting up with the peeps again, with loads of crap and talks. It was my first time dining at Manhatten Fish Market and i absolutely love it. Great place to dine with wonderful services. In total we spent about 5 hours at that restaurant? lol

Family day + Musical Play + Louis Bday

wah sian, saturday stil must wake up damn early for the 6SIR family day. Wake up at like 6.30 then my dad drove me and my mum to some hawker in clementi to have kway chap. It was nice though haha, then he dropped us at dover mrt to wait for the shuttle to go Maju Camp. Went there, it was a total waste of time, that what i thought, somemore the supposingly attendence was not taken, waste my time. In the end the thing ended ard 10+ so i faster zhao. Went back home to rest and slp while my mum went to work.

At night went to meet Soo Guan, Yi Hui and Teng feng at bugis to have dinner b4 heading over to NAPFA Campus 3 to watch "Staged" performed by Zen a& Lina's hall. We had our dinner at KFC and i gt myself a nice tee at Design Graniph at 20% discount. Woohoo, initially wanted to get a shoe, but couldn't find one that i fancy. The musical was nice, i enjoyed it thoroughly, definitely worth the $11 i spend on the tix. After the musical end, Yi Hui, soo Guan and me took a cab down to Mel's Place at East coast Road to crash Louis 21st bday party. Reach there saw him already vv drunk liao wahahaha. After the count down was home sweet home for me. Took a bus home to save cost =P

3SGT PHEY QUAN RUI

I had finally graduated from Pasir Laba camp. In other words, i had finally got out of Pasir Laba Camp. Like some of u might noe, i did my passing out parade on Wednesday. This time it was abit different, my parade was held in the rain due to the bad weather. So i was drenched, and coincidently, when it was time for the parents to come onto the parade square to put on the Cheveron for us, the rain stopped, haha. My parents didn't came for this parade due to work, so i was one of those lone;y souls there but i'm ok with it, i proudly put on the cheveron myself, glad that i had made it this far, all the shit i went thru. So now i'm a 3rd Sergeant, a specialist. I was posted to 6SIR which specialises in POI. While most of my buddies went to 3rd Guards and 4SIR. They kinda envy me for going 6SIR coz its like a less xiong unit so i shld be thankful for my luck haha. Janice was there for the parade coz her BF oso passing out but as a signal spec. But i didn't get to see her coz i was rushing home as i nd to report to my new camp the following day.

My new camp is now Maju Camp, situated just beside Ngee Ann Poly. Today when i took bus 74 from my camp to Dover Mrt, i board the bus full of students. It was just like taking bus 69 going to TP, makes me feel like a student once again. Haha, silly me. Tomorrow gt family day at my new camp, so i got to bring my mum along there coz its compulsory to bring family members, =.=" then at night got the concert at NAPFA campus =D busy day!!

I just went for a jog and i got out of breath pretty fast, i guess i really nd to start building up my fitness again. Coz i'm declaring myself unfit nw.

Back from ROC

I'm back from ROC. hahaha, training had been tough ya, real hectic schedule + rigorous training. It was nothing like those in BSLC Gypsy navigation or field camp. It was a totally new experience. Imagine shivering in your sleep in the middle of the night, then waking up to open heat pad to make u warmer. Imagine sleeping in plantations at nite with dogs barking at u not far away. Guess i shouldn't reveal too much since its SAF =P

And so i departed on friday night to Taiwan. Some cockster actually brought an SOG(smth like swiss knife) on board and when his luggage was being scan, it was confiscated away from him. Disciplinary action follow up i guess. We took Eva Air to taiwan, departing at ard 3+ am reaching there at 8 am i think. Real boring flight with boring games and lousy food.

Once we reached, most of my section mates were kinda overwhelmed by the cold weather. All of them whipped out jackets and wrapped themselves with it. So we took the scheduled bus waiting for us at the airport to Mei Lin Camp. Oh did i mention we didn't need our passport, it seems like they were using some nominal row to identify us.

So when we reached Mei Lin Camp, we need to do loads of admin stuff, unloading kitbag, bunks, issuing of items(sleeping bag, winter jacket etc) that made us so bz. Worst still we gt no cupboard =.=" so we need to lock up our kitbag. But i gt to say their night snack there was superb and the instant noodle vending machine always made our day + the drinks machine had super big variety + cheap.

And so the hectic training programme started. Can't say much here if nt i get charge haha. See picture ba.

During the R&R i also went to Xi Men Ding, Wu Fen Pu and SHi Lin Night market. these are places worth visiting again. Xi Men Ding is just as colourful, Wu fen pu had a wide variety of clothes and Shi Lin serve great food. ANd also, i went to the famous LUXY night club in Taipei. It was abit dissappointing going there though coz it was thursday night so vv lil ppl. But still gd experience overall and we met SQ air stewardess there haha.

Pre departure - taiwan

hi yo i'm back from camp. Coz tomorrow midnight 0250 i will be flying off to Taiwan for my overseas training, so i'm back to rest for a day before meeting up with my unit at Changi airport terminal 1 tomorrow to take EVA Air to Taiwan for 21 day training. Heard of the training programme and schedule already, doesn't sound nice and pleasing to the ear at all, but i guess i'm someone who will just endure and go through it, so i will just endure the training lo. Hopefully for the outfield training in taiwan i won't kena infection or anything or complication to rashes or whatsoever, coz my rashes is starting to get better. Like finally!!! Enough about army, let me talk about CNY chu er ba.

And so went for my traditional CNY visiting on the second day of CNY. Went to the usual places just that this year we left house quite late, like at 10? coz my bro went to bai nian at her God-Ma house and waiting for him to come back then go bai nian together. Last year if i nt wrong we left house at abt 9 =.= And so out bai nian to the many houses ended at around 1. Final destination was my Uncle house, which is my dad's elder brother. Went there to makan makan and stay around before going over to Chiu Hsia's house at Buangkok for a mini SPH gathering. Had a really fun time with chiu hsia's two daughters and catching up with my ex SPH colleague.

After the gathering, travelled all the way from Buangkok to tam mall to meet up with Wendy, Jaime, KB and Yoke Sun to watch movie. Made a wrong choice to choose the movie InkHeart, the rest found it ok, i find it boring and fall asleep for abt half an hour?? lol. the KB gave me a ride home, reach home at abt 12 then need to wake up at 5 to prepare book in, lol. Had a very filling reunion dinner on Chu Xi Ye! I was the last to leave the table, the person who eat the most rice, and eat the most ever amount of abalone in my life. Army food must had taken its toll on me if not the demon within me wouldn't be unleashed for reunion dinner. lols. Anyway, must eat more good food before departing for taiwan.

hmm.. there is a lesser crowd for this year CNY, beacuse i gt 1 uncle and 3 aunties who went to cameron highlands with their family. So thats like abt 10+ ppl away. So generally this year my house is less rowdy. But STILL!!!! For some reason i dunno why, i can't really be bothered with the guest anymore, i was just like sitting on corner, trying to doze off or in my own world. Just occasionally giving drinks, saying "happy new year", shaking hands, saying "bye" i was actually hoping the day will end fast.

Hmmm.. for this CNY, i find that i can't really stand the behaviour or attitude of some of my nephews. They were really rude and their behaviour absolutely disgust me. I swear i wasn't so naughty when i was young! But still, i do had nephews and niece that i really adore for their good behaviour. They do bring me a smile on my face. Eventhough this year there were lesser relative coming due to them going overseas, my mum was so busy cooking food, ensuring there was ample food on the table, at one point, the fishball ran out, and she had to find other stuff to top up. LOL

The day ended well with a chat with Lavina who drop by my house for dinner after coming back from Cameron Highlands. I do miss chatting with Lavina and Yi Peng, i guess thats the thing that i look forward to on CNY as we are all busy with our own life to catch up with each other on normal days.

Tomorrow going visiting le, more hongbao and more food and drinks. Hope tomorrow will be a happy day~~

CNY is jut around the corner le! Like finally!! I'm so looking forward to this year CNY as its gonna be quite different. For instance, my hair is damn short =.=", some of my aunt and uncle isn't coming on Chu Yi, but coming on Chu Er i think coz they going overseas, so expecting a lesser crowd this year.

And i can feel the New Year atmosphere at home le. Yesterday help my mum to fill up the gap in between the tiles on the wall for my sister's bathroom with cement water or smth de. Now she is doing the same for my bathroom. The yesterday nite went with her to Shing Song to buy drinks for CNY and goodies. There is just so many shopping to be done lo.

This morning i went to get another top at Topshop =D and along the way change currency for my Taiwan trip lo. Going Taiwan for 3 weeks but there is only two days that they will let us go play lo. But i think for me I'm more interested in shopping than sight seeing haha. So hope i can go walk walk myself other than follow the group =P. But seriously i hope this 3 weeks will pass faster then get a good posting to a good unit and i will be satisfied. Booking in tonight, feel very sian, but coming out on Friday le! So hope time pass faster. Then on Saturday going for dinner with AF then they say wan go drink =X see hw ba =)

Finally 2 consecutive field camp over. I was so looking forward to the end of it. This field camp was anth new experience, our field camp site was actually beside an expressway, so literally i was able to see cars zooming past every minute. This field camp site boasted something very special, Spider the size of my palm =.=" I swear its the truth and i myself was vv shock when i see it. But its finally over and i'm nw in a long break, won't need to book in until Tuesday night 2300 =D

During field camp an unfortunate accident happen, one of my platoon mate in one of the operation fall down and the Metador he was carrying landed on his back, resulting in his tail bone injury. Hopefully he will make a full recovery and complete the course with us.

CHinese new year coming le, quite looking forward to it. Then aft CNY will be departing to Taiwan for 3 weeks training. After it i will POP haha. Think tmr i gng for more shopping lol.

A totally different field camp.

The past week as expected had been hell for me. Monday to Wednesday had my 3 days 2 night field camp. It was H O R R E N D O U S! Lets see, we had training that made us sweat till we are soaked to the skin. Then we were promised that for this field camp, there will NOT BE any need to dig shell scrape and fire trench. So we were left to slp at 8 pm. at 10 pm we were rudely awaken, to dig shell scrape =.=" that was reali a pleasant surprise! So dig dig dig all the way till abt 2am. Then help out with those that weren't done then slept at ard 3. Then were rudely awaken once again to do duty. So for 1st night all i had was abt 2 hours of slp? Then in the morning at 7am, we gotta cover back the shell scrape!

Day 2 training was tough too. Soaked to the skin with sweat. At night news came, every section gotta complete 2 shell scrape and 1 fire trench =.=" So from 9pm, dig dig dig all the way till abt 3 am. Then slept awhile til abt 6. THen day 3 was training again all the way until 4pm.

As expected, ASLC field camp is hell. And tomorrow i'm embarking on a four day 3 nights field camp that promised to be double the sweat and triple the pain. Reali no need to slp liao!!

But i'm glad Saturday gamesday is over, no need to headache anymore le =)

Just came back from movie session with AF, haha, Wendy keep saying i look unhappy and is different from my usual self. Mayb? i dunno... She also said i'm escaping reality. Am i? i also dunno. I guess i dunno abt alot of things.. lol..

Start of the Shagg Period

Next week onwards will be the shagg period. Tomorrow 3 days 2 nights field camp coming up. Friday having platoon live firing then Saturday gamesday. Followed by next week 4 days 3 nights field camp. 2 day block leave coming up then some admin stuff before Chinese new year is here then on the fifth day will be departing for Taiwan for 3 weeks army overseas training. After which when i come back can get ready for POP liao. Its gonna be a very eventful and most likely i will be damn busy but its good in a way, time will definitely pass faster?

Yesterday book out le went Marina Square to meet Zenith, Louis, Yi hui, fazillah, soo Guan, Lina and Teng Feng to celebrate Faz belated birthday. Settled our lunch at Pizza Hut where Louis had a four course meal set haha. Then went over to esplanade library to walk around looking at artistic books while we were pretending to be artistic haha. Cut the cake for her at the open theater by the river then the rest went off. Leaving yi hui, teng feng, lina and me behind to go to the arcade. Miraculously Lina found a handphone and we spend like 5 mins looking thru the phone trying our best to find out hw to return it to the owner. eventually she call back and we managed to return to the relieved owner. Proceeded to play game, me and teng feng wasted money trying to play a new grab the plushie game instead this time we are hooking basket. Then played some aircraft game that moves lol. After the arcade teng feng went home for dinner while yi hui, lina and me began our journey to find cheap and nice Japanese food. Since yi hui and me had cravings for sushi and we are sick of the army sushi (steam fish + white rice =.=") so we walk to the fountain of wealth, suntec, back to city link finally settling at Sakae at Citylink. I totally enjoyed the sushi and when we asked for bill, me and yi hui were cursing the cashier for remembering we ordered green tea lol. Need to pamper myself with more food before booking in tonight coz hell is gonna start tomorrow, field camp. chaos. =D

2008 had been a really eventful year. First thing first "School". My semester 3.2 was totally different from the previous 5 semester. There was MP24!!! Doing major project in the holidays. Rushing numerous project in school until the lab closes. Meeting Young Mind presentation and the Final 5 competition. My last semester in TP had really been fruitful and eventful! I can only thank MP24 for that =)

Next i Graduated from TP! Haha, finally a diploma graduate. But more studying coming up i guess. I had alot of fond memories in TP. 1E08, CAAS, MP24, my first realtionship, it all happen here.

Then there is the taiwan trip with Sharon. Really enjoy myself there, alot of memories. fond memories there.. haha

SPH!!! My favourite workplace!!! Great environment, great colleague, had been working there part-time on and off for abt 3 years. A place that introduce me to alot of great ppl. Aunty betty, jeannie, ren hui, chiu hsia, susan. Haha. Miss them alot!

Enlisted in army on 10/07/2008. A totally new experience, took awhile but managed to settle down finally. Really learn alot of things! Personally improved alot on my fitness, more discipline and mentally stronger. Army let me gain some things then took some things away from me, i guess thats life and i should move on.

My OC is kind enough to let us book out last night so we can have a long break with christmas in between. i won't need to book in until sunday night. My sis got me a new bag from Hong Kong during her holiday trip. Woah, it cost her a whopping 200++ bucks. I was having my dinner when she passed me the gift and i was kinda shock after hearing the price. The brand is Jack Spade, i got to admit i wasn't familiar with the brand but after looking it up on the net, i guess its kinda affiliated to the brand Kate Spade, overall a quality product. Its a green bag, may be plain but i like it =) Thanks sis!!!

The guy in the red box is me. I guess onli ppl who see me on beret and uniform before can recognise me. Wei tang just sms me abt it saying chuan xiang, darren and him was able to recognise me on it. Seriously, i didn't expect ppl to be able to recognise me lol. I myself gt abit of a shock too when i was reading the article then looking at the picture saw the guy kinda familiar then i saw the surname realise its me haha.

Last bit of the post, i took my SOC re-test yest. Got a timing of 9.02 min haha. A new personal best for me and i'm kinda proud of myself. Previous best timing that i gt was 9.33 min at BSLC. Aft went to ASLC for the first test gt 10.06 min. THe passing mark was 9.59 min so i fail e first test =/ So now i had cleared this test kinda relac. Currently, i'm just gonna devote more of my time in physical training building up my fitness and body. It does keep my mind away. Dun worry i'm fine.

Everything ended on 20/12/2008. Nearly 1.5 years of relationship has ended. I do feel the heart pain.. really... but for the good for her and me....

I would like to clarify that there was no argument, it was nobody's fault. Maybe it was just fate, heaven's doing... just maybe....

I broke e news to my parents, mum was kinda shock, she asked question which i didn't answer and then kept quiet. Dad told me examples of my cousin and hw much problem he is currently having in his marriage and the headaches his dad is having nw. I guess they noe i am unhappy thus they didn't say much afterwards. much of they day, i was just watching tv. i'm glad tv is still able to make me smile and laugh, even if its just for a short while.

i hate being alone in the room nw. it makes me think of things that i wouldn't wan to think of. i hate peeping at the phone, checking for sms. i reali hate everything in my life nw. and so I went for a ran in the afternoon, pull up, parallel bars, sit ups, sprints. it made me tired but i'm able to slp at nite.

Thank you to those who are concern and cares. I appreciate it. Dun worry, i will be alright. Like i told yi peng, i will and need to stand up by myself. i'm sure i will

Haha, look like report book rite, lol. anyway, this result is quite ordinary, so for someone who just wanted to get out of here and get posted out, i'm kinda satisfied with this. Whats more, i attained an A in peers, which is a peer evaluation of me whithin my ten men section, and i'm elated to noe that i'm rated 2nd within the section =)

So on friday nite went for my graduation march. We started off at krangi war memorial where we will take a 28 km route all the way back to our pasir laba camp. The whole march will end when we march in to the cheveron square at Pasir Laba camp where we will have our passing out parade as Corporal. This 28 km was a killer for me personally as it was 2 months ago i last had my 24 km route march so it was a test for me mentally and physically but i'm glad i didn't fall out and completed it =) so after the parade, with my new rank, my whole company went back to our coy line to pack up our stuff and prepare to get our posting order and book out.

I was damn excited and glad that i'm finally getting out of pasir labar camp. preferred destination was armour or artillery or even better the dog unit =) but my worst dream came true, i was posted out to ASLC(Advance Specialist Leadership Course) - foxtrot company. hai.. it was the vv unit i said i dun wan to go and ironic enough i'm going there. Its a 13 week course which i dun really fancy and i'm starting off tomorrow. So please i hope this 13 weeks pass by fast so i can get out of here and finally go to a new unit.

Feel damn emo when i kena ASLC, hai... onli positive part... i get to go Taiwan for field training and there might be days off there where i can go walking around.

i'm back peoples. it was really hell when u gt to spend your bday in camp. especially for me, i stil gt to do proj late into the nite, straight to 2 am. wat a sad life huh. and i only gt anth 3 hours to slp then waking up agn at 5 am to get ready for the day. it was really the saddest bday i ever went through but nonetheless its over so next year had better be a better one.

and so back to army talks. i went for a "wanderer" exercise on tuesday where i will be in a grp of seven, given a map, a few checkpoints and navigate to them. whats more we need to bring along rifle, signal set and 24 hour combact rations. it was a 10am - 9pm exercise which i totally dread. First thing which is the food is totally inedible, plus the heavy load of Signal set (10 kg) and rifle (5 kg). I dun really fancy such exercises but wat to do, i swei swei kena group IC(in charge) which make me responsible for the grp, additional responsibility which i dun reali welcome. but stil it went by alright, we were able to navigate through the forest rather smoothly and reached our checkpoint safely and gt back to camp on time.

then wednesday was our field camp nickname "Grandslam". Nothing much comapred to last week, just that this time it rain so much i was vv du lan. particularly the second night when it rain so heavily. the lazy me refused to build shelter and just slept in the rain. it wasn't a gd experience, imagine waking up at 2am and shivering while the rain continue to pour and me trying to slp, soaked to the skin. haha, it was a new experience for me, but nt one that i really fancy or repeating agn. one swei thing that happen to me was that the scope of my rifle hit my front teeth during one of the operations which resulted in my teeth hurting for two days. mu thank god it wasn't knocked out. haha, 3 more weeks and i hope i get a good vocation and pay rise again with my new rank =)

haha, i'm only looking forward to the new pay but ORD date faster come can??

hi peeps, i made it back from field camp in sispec. anyway the field camp site is at lim chu kang but it is an enclosed area so kinda cut offf from the outside world all e same. its a 4 days 3 nights camp which kinda sux coz it rains and everywhere is sticky and smelly mud. and i just practically sleep on them everynight, the only things that seaparate us is a piece of groundsheet. and nt bathing for 4 days practically turns me off. and there is so many mosquitoes, spiders, houseflies and ants around!!!but anyway i made it back le but i gt anth field camp to go next week >.< damn sad life la!!! reach back camp le in a rush to wash helmet, clean rifle, wash clothes and everything. lying dwn on the bed was the most shiok feeling for the past 1 week man!! 4 more weeks to go and i'm OUT of Pasir Laba camp!!!!

had my advanced bday celebration yest. straight away book out le went to town to meet darling. had our lunch at suki sushi. satisfied my craving for sushi!!!!! next we went walking around in town. cineleisure la, heeren la, taka la, wisma, far east. haha, freedom feels so gd man. even if it is just walking ard doing nth, it stil feels gd, somemore with darling by my side. haha. then for dinner, we went to a grill cafe/ restaurant at 56 cairnhill road called "Blue Basil". we were there kinda early so when we reach only two of the tables were occupied. the appetizer were normal but i like the main course "Stuffed Chicken". and the mush room soup =) and i gt my advanced bday prezzie!!!!

hi peoples, it had been three weeks in BSLC at Pasir Laba camp alrdy. i had anth 5 more weeks to go. Life haven really been what i wanted, it had been a total culture shock compared to BMTC life at hawk coy. FYI i'm in Bravo company at BSLC. ONe of the most xiong company in sispec. Lets see, erm... onli 20-30 minute admin time each day?? 3km run every morning?? e coy to book in earliest in the whole Pasir Laba camp for the past three weeks? No nights out at all for our whole BSLC? stay up aft nights out to complete "homework" and studying for test the next day? and i had been practically booking out every saturday? in bmt i owaes book out on friday and mind u, tekong is near pasir ris. Pasir laba is freaking far at boon lay and i take 1 hr ++ to reach home. and so i had adapted John(my section mate at BMT)'s favourite line "I'm so miserable"

haha, but i guess compared to OCS my is nth ba. SO i shall just endure and pass out of BSLC and get out of there. Anyway, i'm aldy kinda assured to pass out of BSLC le, already pass my IPPT test, nw just had to make sure i dun kena status for more than five days which will result in me missing training which result in OOC (Out Of Course). next week is field camp, then more field camp and more field camp!!!! 3 in total like wtf rite.

but anyway the food there is much much better than the one we get at tekong so tat is the onli positive point abt there. and yup!!! i IMPROVED on my ippt result. 2.4 km improved from 10.00 to 9.30 =) and chin up frm 6 - 8. and standing broad jump from 216 - 221. hopefully i can claim my silver for the next test. haha... its gd to see improvement but i wanna get out of Pasir Laba camp, TOO FAR LE LA!!!!

Hi peeps, 11 days of tactical break is coming to and end le. I'm left with like 3 days?? haha.. anyway, i find that the break is damn short. DAMNIT!!! Basically had been going out with GF, friends, eating out, slacking at home and playing PSP. lol. anyway i gt myself a new cap =P

Anyway, went for Zen & Lina's Hostel inspection a few days back. hai!!! the room is atrocious. I guess the hostel's management should implement "Stand By Bed" and "Stand by Area" so that their room is fit for living =X anyway, their room need renovating la, and aft a shift of furniture.. hmm.. it will be better haha. then proceeded to had dinner at their vv famous "Zi Char" at the canteen before back to hostel to had a pre-birthday celebration for Zen before me and Yi hui make our way home on MRT from Boon Lay to Simei T_T

hi peeps, it had really been long since i blogged. well i had just POP on wednesday. It feel so damn shiok just to leave tekong island haha. anyway i will be having 11 days of "tactical break" lol. i would had to check my posting of unit online on the 19 then report on the 22. it just feel so good being a civilian.

anyway, had a poly bbq yesterday, ppl attended were zenith, yi hui, teng feng, lina, soo guan, wen jie, teresa, see teng, cindy, aisah, jin hui, imelda, xin yi, jess and su ling. the usual clique. Guess the gurls were bored out by our guys' ns talk lol. but we finally POP le, so cfm gt alot of things to compare ma. like i just knew Soo guan he OOT(Out of training), and viper is a xiong company. And HAWK is a freaking slack company. Yih long had been in Falcon which is beside my building but i nv seen him once before lol.

anyway, eugene is enlisting on the 16 so i guess we will had alot of advice for him regarding BMT and he sadly will had to listen to us abt field camp and sit test which isn't happy period at all lol. meeting up with animal fam later, will update soon..... i hope... lol.

Enlisting on the 10th of July, last day of work on the 4th of July, haha peoples 5 more day of rest until hell begins =x going botak head soon lol. Anyways, had a really memorable last day in SPH, had so many last day in SPH for the past 3 years perhaps but this time may really be the last time I'm working at SPH lol. Noe loads of great colleagues here and learn lots of stuff that I'm sure will benefit me when i step into the working world. This colleagues had truly made my last day in SPH very memorable, buying me breakfast, treating me lunch, getting me gifts and loads of photo taken for memories sake.

Thanks to all for this truly memorable day =) I know Susan is really sad about me leaving and Chiu Hsia keep remindind me to be careful in NS. Renhui keep wishing me luck in NS and Jeannie feel kinda guilty on the jokes about the injuries i may suffer in army. Susan and Chiu Hsia both gave me a farewell hug that nearly made me teared. Haha, they are truly a bunch of cute colleagues that I'm contented to work with. Will feel kinda weird not being there on monday for work but i'm sure we can meet up soon. hmmm... if i didn't rmb wrongly, my family went for a photoshoot to had a family portrait taken last last sunday. We had been planning ages for it, before i go into the army and become botak =X and so finally we managed to settle on a day where everyone can make it and made and arrangement. So on Sunday we headed over to Serangoon Broadway somewhere near Macpherson, it was more crowded than i was expected. and so my bro and sis wore their University Graduation gown while i wore my TP gown (abit malu here) Anyway my bro graduate from NUS engineering school while my sis graduated from NTU business school. And sadly i can't get into any of them =( damnit!!! and so before our photo taking, it was make up time! and the make up artist managed to cover the scar on my face, =P lets see, we took quite a no of photo but some of them i was smiling abit fake, or my dad eyes closed, or some hideous expression by all of us, so only left a few nice one haha

we chose to develop this into a 45 inch portrait to be hanged on the wall =D

this is another nice one, haha, this photo will act as a reminder to me that i need to go uni =X

alrights, i noe it had been ages since i met up with Animal Fam, Kinda guilty =X

haha, well, Ah boon is going in on 6/5/08, gosh! thats so early, and we met up on the fourth to had a farewell dinner for him. hmmm.. of coz the main lead is suppose to decide wat he wan to eat and yup, we hopped over to Tian Tian Huo Guo at Bugis. Arranged to meet at 7.00pm at bugis mrt, and the ever so punctual me came too early agn!!! damnit. so proceeded over to Kinokuniya to check out the books =) dun be surprised please! i'm a bookworm =D and after much browsing, went to the control station to meet up with the peeps. and waited damn long for the girls! Yoke Sun, Wendy, Janice, Li Ting =X hai.... nv change at all!!! still so not punctual!!! and i finally managed to give out the gift i got them in Taiwan, i had been holding on to them for like close to 2 months le =X Wendy was super happy with the Swiss Cheese Lays Chips, as i didn't reply her whether i'm getting it for her anot, she gave up on me le =P haha, anyway, we had loads of fun during dinner. Gosh, ate so much, meatballs, mutton, beef, pork, dumplings, hotdogs, mushrooms and whatever there should be at a steamboat. SO full!!! the dinner was fun, ended up Li Ting gave KB a trim of the hair, to prepare him for the haircut =P seriously it had been quite long since the 8 of us are out together =X and we took lots of photo, and Janice still owe me the group photo!!!

PEOPLES!!! so long since i blog LOL. ok i know i had been back from taiwan for quite some time and i had not blog for more than 1 month plus. hee hee paisei paisei, i shall start with my taiwan trip then =)

as almost all of u know i was away to taiwan from 10/04/08 - 17/04/08. me and darling was travelling on Jetstar asia flight. i got to say, the seats are really damn small and they charge exorbitant price for the food on board the plane. imagine, $5 for cup noodle =/ anyway, i heard abt this long time ago so i made sure i fill up my stomach before boarding the plane. This means Popeye chicken =D almost had them every week when having my attachment at CAAS, oh, hw i missed it =D and coincidentally, we met darling's friend there, and they are also going to taiwan, on the same flight as us =X but anyway we were going to stay in different hotel and since that day, nv saw them again anymore.

by the time we reached taiwan it was abot 5++ i guess. but the sky was alreay getting dark. once we exit the terminal after collecting our luggage, we caught sight of the bus interchange. =D over there, we can board buses that send us directly to our hotel. after calculating, it only cost like $7 per person. damn economical. if we were to hail a cab, it would had been a $50 dollar ride to our hotel. anyway the bus service is called FEI GOU BUS Service.

upon reaching the hotel which is at si men ding, we gotta check in first, pay the full amount then collect our keys to the room. there is no bell boy here thus no need to give tips =X our room number is 810 =D The name of our hotel is Rainbow Hotel, and highly recommended to everyone who wan to live somewhere near si men ding. it is very comfortable and at night, it is very crowded and full of activities. after settling our luggage, me and darling headed straight down to si men ding to start shopping. darling got the first buy, bought a whole lot of heels =X i didn't found anything i like so i bought alot of food to eat =X

We shopped till around 11 pm before heading back to our hotel for dinner cum supper. haha, and we were so tired we fall asleep immediately after shower. The next day we were entirely cluless on where to head to, so we went to the lobby and asked them where would they recommend us to go. i hav to compliment them on their professionalism, they were so courteous to answer our queries and even draw a map with detail instruction on where to get off on MRT and which bus to take, and go out at which exit. for our whole taiwan trip, the main transport was just bus and mrt =D

one thing i had to comment is that taiwan had very cool weather. so cool that everyone was wearing double layer. except me, all the while i was wearing t-shirt and shorts. as i didn't brought alot of jacket with me =X so we headed down to jiu fen, which used to be a gold digging place. now it is a visiting ground for tourist.

and so after jiu fen, me and darling took another bus from there to Ji Long market. oh well, there was nothing much there, just that i saw a pair of shoe i like but it cost $120, whoch was too expensive. but i managed to had my first try on Cong Zhua Bing, which happend to be my favourite street snack there =D so we left Ji long after awhile, and headed to Ji long railway station there to take a train to Song Shan train station. from there we can walk to Wu Fen Pu, which is a vv big apparel retailer market. over there, there is the most clothes at the lowest prices. we shopped for about four hours there, by then my leg is already so tired that i cannot tahan anymore. but mind u, we had only covered about 1/3 of the place =.=" but i bought quite a number of things there already. a few piece of tees and shirts plus a brand new bag =D so we took mrt back to our hotel. on the way grabbed our dinner then went back to our hotel to consume them. the kfc over there sell egg tarts which hav mua qi inside. it is damn nice and should be a must try over there in taiwan. their instant noodle there is also the best i had ever eaten. they had real packet of meat inside that are so delicious.

did i tell u yi hui was staying in the same hotel as us, haha, he was there with his secondary schoole friend, and we also managed to catch jia hao and jasmine there in Rainbow Hotel too =D so for the 3rd day of our trip, we followed yi hui and his friends to yang ming shan. the air there was indeed very fresh, but it was a long bus ride up there. the scenery was quite beautiful just that i dun like the food there, too much veggie =X

and so after exiting yang ming shan, we headed over to miramar shopping complex to had a ride on the ferris wheel =D ok, it was per couple per cabin, not like singapore one where they will squeeze so much ppl in one. anyway it is a 17 min ride, it does provide some view of taiwan, not really magnificient, but still u can see vv far =X

the next location that we visited was taipei 101!!! haha, it was truly a magnificent building with excellent view on top. it cost $20 per person to go up there. gosh, so expensive!! there is an outdoor platform there where u can feel the wind and look around, it was damn cold, seriously. but still it is definitely a must visit place =)

after taipei 101, me and baby headed to wu fen pu again =X to cover the shops that we didn't manage to visit haha. we spent anth like 3 hours there and damn it, we can only cover anth 1/3 of the place, we are still not done with the whole place. and our hands are already laden with shopping bags and legs are about to give way =X and ya, there is a shop that in it that sell nice fruit ice. i particularly love the mango ice, the fruit is damn fresh and damn tasty.

and so the next day we headed over to shi lin night market, went there for dinner plus take a look at the night market, didn't get much stuff as i feel tat wu fen pu the stuff are cheaper and nicer =X

Had been damn happy for the past few day, first thing first, Watched Manchester United vs Liverpool. Super thrilling match, Manchester thrashed liverpool 3-0 and whats more, arsenal lost to chelsea, how sweet is that =) now Manchester had a 5 point lead on the top Wahahaha.

The second good news =) We got 1st place in the Final5 business plan competition =) My last year in TP was so eventful. =D

Final 5 Presentation and BIT CHALET =)

yo, i had finally gotten the photos for the chalet le =) i guess there were 20++ BIT peeps who attended the chalet. let me see who i can remember, Soo Guan, Yi Hui, Lina, lina's grandma, See Teng, Cindy, Jas, Jing Hui, Wen Jie, Su Ling, Theresa, Imelda, Yih Long, Zenith, Teng Feng, Louis, Cheryl, Heri and a girl who i dunno the name lol. For the first day, we had our bbq, woah, there was a whole lot of food, but the bbq pit was damn small. then we were all attacked by ants around the pit. =.=" but still, we had a whole lot of fun eating and bbqing. I swear that the food ordered was damn nice and i particularly love the otah, it was reali good. we finished bbqing around 9 o clock and everybody was in the chalet. some were playing mahjiong, some in the room playing heart attack and some playing dai dee. and i kena forfeit during the first and very last round of mass heart attack =.=" oh man and they got the video with them, damnit! but still it was fun. lol after that, quite a number of people left, so onli left with yi hui, soo guan, lina, wen jie, cindy, see teng, theresa, imelda and me. we are the only one who stay through out the three days while some went home halfway then came back. so for the first night, we had our night walk around pasir ris mangrove, and beach, then went back to chalet and talk talk. went to mac for breakfast at 6 am, then went back to chalet to sleep a lil less than 2 hours =X

Then for day 2, we went to arcade to play. seeing the girls play the game was so fun haha. and my first time playing basketball game and i definitely suck at it!!! after that proceeded to food court to eat and then back to chalet to collect the ball. then off we went to the park to play captain's ball. haha, it was fun but tiring. i was teamed with soo guan, theresa and lina, while another team was wen jie, yi hui, see teng and cindy. imelda was helping us to look after our belongings. and our team WON. yes, haha, then me and yi hui rushed back to sch for FYP meeting with Cindy =.= and then me and yi hui went back to the chalet after the meeting lol. so all of us didn't had dinner coz we were lazy to go out, then we played the twister game, coupled with lots of laughter from the girls. then played indian poker and murderer. lol, it was so fun all of us were laughing every now and then. me and yi hui kena the most drink, like 5 cup each for vodka. the cup weren't full though abt half. but taking them with an empty stomach was kinda sucidal but we didn't vomit though lol. we played until abt 5 am then we fall asleep respectively, some in the room, some in the living room, i just lied on the living room floor and fall asleep. morning ten am was time to check out so packed my stuff and was kinda rushed. then return the keys le, me, wen jie, theresa, yi hui, lina, imelda went to white sand food court to had breakfast. and from 10.45, we chat all the way until 12.30 lol. and that marks the end of the chalet when all of us went home =) overall, it was reali fun and one that i won't forget =)

yo i'm back with the zoo entry that should be up long ago. lol and so on 08/03/2008 MP24 went for the zoo trip without Louis. coz he went to bangkok. and he was badly missed =( and so with the 4 complimentary passes that we hav, we onli need to purchase one more tickets thus we split the cost for the single ticket among the 5 of us. And so i end my 3 Years in BIT with a bang, being involved in the seminar was a rare chance for me, and the BIT nite was particularly eventful. and so ya, during the nite was saboed to dance, but seriously it was fun, all the camwhoring session, all the shouting and teasing haha. and Yup, MP24 was voted most popular project during MYM. HAHAHA, it was so sweet to come in 1st!

Thursday 28/02/2008
ERM paper in the morning. So after the paper, all Second Life major Project groups gt to have a meeting with Miss phyllis to discuss about MYM. and so, our group was told we are gonna present our project during the LT show on next Tuesday, the actual day for Meeting Young Minds at BIT. yup, speaker is Louis (HURRAY!!! wasn't me =P) and then our group was tasked to compile all the videos done by the other second life team to present in the LT show on Tuesday =( oh god, extra work than other groups but because ours was featured project, so this is somehow like a personal glory ba. so we proceeded to louis's house again to do the video, but end up we watch youtube, coz we are feeling slack =P then went over to Tam mall Seoul garden to celebrate louis's birthday. haha plz dun laugh, that was my 1st trip there. Gosh, i'm a country bumpkim!! yup, we had a very enjoyable and fun dinner there. we got for him 8 packets of japanese seaweed as present. My idea!! LOLX

went back to sch to collect the video from the other second life group. end up we play games there. lol. lucky we weren't tis slack 6 months back =P aft collecting the video, we went back home to slack somemore!!! =X

went to louis's house at 11 am to do the video. we took so long!! all the way till 8 p.m. thats about 10 hours? without food lol. we took too long to chose the song but in the end we are quite satisfied =) haha, constant long hours of proj mode without food had trained all of us nt to feel hungry when doing proj! haha, i guess tis wil do me good in the army =P

supposed to go to sch to design the booth for meeting young minds. haha, we were so void of ideas what to design. then came the first news, speaker need assistant and the assistant need to wear blazer O.O and onli i managed to find one so i slotted in as louis's assistant. Mr jackson was nice enough to open up an empty LT for us to practise first while they are rehearsing other parts. but during the actual rehearsal, it was a disaster. due to some idiot lecturer named Mdm N. she was totally sarcastic with us and at the end of the rehearsal, we are totally boiling hot and ready to explode anytime. as usual, me and louis then proceeded to complain to the rest of the grp first before complaining as a group to My Phyllis. lol.. thats wat we always do anyway. so we solved the song issue and me and louis gt down to more rehearsing and practicing. and the rest was busy helping louis with the script and decorating the booth. i muz say the booth was well done!! good job peeps!!! and so i left at 8 to go for a hair cut as my hair was too long for the formal presentation we are gonna have tomorrow.

Tuesday 04/03/2008
Today is the actual Meeting Young Minds at BIT Event, honestly i got to say, the preparation and rehearsal time given was not enough. rehearsal was scheduled to start at 9.30. i reached at 9 to practice with the navigation before the actual rehearsal. the rehearsal started, and yup changes again and some problems, video, powerpoint slides, but no panic man, no good to panic at such a stage, doesn't do u good at all. And so Louis had to settle with changes to his script, while i was confused to whether i am supposed to do live navigation of second life or show video. in the end, do live plus clicking of Cindy's slides eventhough i didn't rehearsed with her at all. oh man, i'm so gonna screwed up the event if the coordination wasn't done properly. then guest came in one by one.. oh.. starting to get nervous, but calmed my self down, no point panicking at this point of time.

the commencement of the actual event started. well, i guess most of us did well. i was aable to navigate second life well without landing wrongly =P like the numerous time i did during practice =X and i was able to click Cindy's slides without any slide error =D haha.. i was totally elated and breathed a sigh of relief when i was done. Finally, i can start enjoying the show without feeling jumpy or nervous. after the LT show, Miss lim gave us a thumbs up to signal that all was well and good job to all =D so proceeded to my own booth to entertain industry guest's or interested parties. the anticipated media didn't came down. orhhhh but oh well, we gt it in another form you can get a full write up of our project here, a tp web reporting team. haha, and yup, we got lots of interested parties coming up to us saying they are very interested with what we had done. haha, it was until 5 pm then we are finally done. and we had camwhored alot. seriously ALOT!!! and it was BIT night next, i'm so tired nw i guess i will continue with that in my next post. anyway pictures not with me yet so i somehow got no motivation to blog more. i shall blog more when i got all pictures alright. so long people.

Yay, finally finished with my ERM paper. Phew.. and i did some major mistake, due to the teacher not being very clear with his instruction =/ but i hope i won't get penalized too much. *Pray Hard* and yups the promised updates =)

And so celebrated my first valentines day with darling. Previously i had lesson for BI so i met darling in the afternoon. Went to collect flowers before meeting my darling and she brought my favie fried banana fritters and Portuguese tart =D and so we proceeded over to Marina Square and Suntec City at City Hall, after that we had our dinner at a restaurant "HotPot Buffet" and after that proceeded to Esplanade =)

After valentines day, went for a Barbeque at OCBC Chalet at dunno where the chalet. It is free coz teresa's ex-internship company had [aid for it so we only had to paid for food =)and we celebrated Cindy's birthday in advance at the barbeque =P

The wake

I had been helping out at my uncle's wake for the past few days. The wake was held at the void deck under my uncle's flat from Wednesday to Saturday. So had been proceeding there to help out everyday, folding incense paper, present for the chanting session and also attending to those guest who came. Time really flew for this few days, before we knew it, it was the day for the cremation. It was a saddening sight, especially so during the last chanting session before the cremation, i couldn't hold it back anymore, just like most of my cousins and relatives, tears flow down uncontrollably.

Proceeded over to Mandai Cremation Center, the monk was chanting and we paid our last respect to my uncle, then he was to be cremated. from the viewing hall, we watched as the casket was moving towards cremate area, almost everyone was crying uncontrollably and shouting or muttering our final message for my uncle. Finally, we managed to pull ourself away from the viewing hall to the resting area to get a hold on ourself. comforted one another especially my cousins, and then we proceeded to "Wang Fo Lin" a temple at bedok.
that was the place when my uncle ashes will rest at, so we proceeded there, a monk came and started to chant and we pray silently in our heart. After the whole ceremony, we proceeded back.

I guess what my elder uncle said was right. My late uncle had finished his responsibility here so he had to move on and enjoy life. Everything is pre destined and there is nothing we can do to change it. So lets move on with life and stop being sad for the leaving of my late uncle but be happy he is moving on and is free from the suffering of this world. Yup, it may still be hard to get over for this period of time for my aunt and my cousins but I'm confident they can in the long run and my cousins can excel in life.

Personally this had taught me to cherish everything in life. Lets stop taking things for granted and ensure that there is no regrets when anything happen.

Yi peng just to let you know, I am always ready to help. My family and I will always be there for you. I am just a phone call away alrights ;) Be strong! I know you will!!

oh and i need to start studying for my ERM paper, gonna start tomorrow le if not will be damn late. Hopefully i will had the mood to study tomorrow. and i still had a few late blog entries. Valentines day and BBQ, i will update this when i'm done with my exam alrights =)

Life is Fragile

Life is fragile.

I finally understand this sentence today. received a call from my mum in the afternoon, was told my uncle died in a motorbike accident in the morning.my mum was crying as she told me and that stunned me for the moment. I just walked around aimlessly for about ten mins fighting against tears, not knowing what to do. I was with my darling and Movie was coming up soon, end up i sold my ticket to another person, and darling watched the movie herself while i rushed home. the moment when i was on the bus and deep in thoughts, tears just uncontrollably came down, was just facing the glass and wiping my tears off. Thoughts came to my mind, my aunty, my cousins, how unfortunate, how can i help? what actually happened? How are they now? the more i thought, the more tears came down, and i had to fight hard to control my emotions, half of the bus ride i was crying.

when i reached home, my grandma still didn't noe the news, i didn't dare to tell her too. i dunno how.. then my relative came over.. and broke the news, i cried along everyone else.. it was just so difficult to take in. being taken away by an accident, and he was just making a living, why must god be so difficult on them.

and so proceeded to my uncle house, and relative drop in as times went pass, comforted my cousin, i knew that it was difficult for them and no matter what i said, its difficult not to be sad, i can only offered encouragement and promises of helps and assistance. it was especially difficult talking to my younger cousin, he seems so strong and so calm, but i guess deep down he is fighting hard, most of the times i was fighting my emotions too when talking to them, they seem so strong and gave me the courage too.

Everyday just pass by like that, but the unexpected happens when u least know it. just like today a freak accident took my uncle away from us, God knows whats next??

Rest in peace Uncle, my family and i will do our best to help and i'm sure you can count on the rest of the relative. You shall always be remembered by me as the fun loving mentor that constantly teaches me life in the actual world and how fascinating are the National Geographics and Discovery Channel.

Happy Chinese New Year everyone

hello ppl, back from my round of Chinese New Year visiting. hmm.. lets see, 1st day i look like this:

~weee~ wear shawl.. yup maybe abit hot and ppl tell me that it was not snowing but then i stil look good and they had to admit it too =) but they stil had to remind me that i am going NS this year and my hair wail all gone =.=" haha, Day one colected quite a bit of hongbao and there is so much things to eat =) my house was just like the muslim family like that, open house during chinese new year, people juz come and eat and eat and eat =P it was only until 8++ then my house was cleared of people. by then i was so bushed from serving drinks and collecting hongbao.

CNY second day, time for me to go visiting le. and so i look like this :

And so Second Day of Chinese New Year went to various places to Bai Nian, and also collected a fair bit of hongbao, the last location was my uncle house, which is my father elder brother house, and so reach le, had lunch there then i sat awhile, before going to meet my darling to go her aunt house bai nian. so i reached pair ris mrt then darling's uncle drove her and come to fetch me go her house. and so i collected alot of hongbao there also =P and they were all friendly =) aft darling's aunty house, darling brought me to one of the cine push cart uncle, uncle thomas house, go there talk talk with uncle thomas and aunty, then aft that went to darling mum house and finally darling grandma house. and so i finished my bai nian finaly. phew. tired~~ but this year hongbaop is the most le =X

now just waiting for darling to come my house on sunday. haha and wit so i need to do my ERM le. SIAN!!!!!

Chinese New Year Eve

hi peeps, ooo today is chinese new year eve, an ADVANCE HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR to you ppl =)

ooo, hav been sick from last friday until monday =.=" anyway, the business strategy game my group were playing well, we gt 1st overall =) for the fourth round we got 1st again but 81 points onli, but aft calculating we realised that none of the team can catch up any more even if we get zero for the fifth and last round thus we anyhw play and we gt second for that round lol. but who cares since we overall gt 1st =) then from then all had been sick, sore throat, flu, fever, cough. sian and i had a BI end sem test on tuesday. oh god how swei eh, then study abit here and there. then finally monday better le then can reali study. tuesday BI test, well, stil ok i can do the paper, except a few i forget, i guess it was quite alright =)

and so today, wake up early, gosh, had to pack my room, eventhough i cleared it before, i stil managed to pack 1 big bag of garbage and throw them away. then my dad asked me to help him wash the garden and car park. Lucky my house garden and car parking lot small, so got the scrub and scrubbed the floor clean, scrubbe3d until my right thumb got blister =.=" then went to bathe. so tired, then lie on the sofa and nap awhile, then watch tv then reunion dinner!!! so many things to eat!!! wow so full =X then aft two hours of stomach rest i went for a jog =D and went for the pull up bar, rmb i wanted a healthy lifestyle, i didn't wan my stamina to drop aft passing my napfa test, then was sick so didn't went for a work out e last few days so went for it juz nw, so refreshing =). anyway i am so looking forward to tmr, i can't waqit for CHINESE NEW YEAR =P

Hee hee, managed to submit MP technical documentation in time. ooo, reached school at 8.00 am then managed to print all the color pages through the credit in our account and no need to pay any money for printing =) then was rushing POT problem 2 hmmm.. managed to finished 2 essay then 1 more to be done. and then stil got POT reflection to do. so sian..

good news though, today went for NAPFA test for the third time. and then the organiser was like saying he saw alot of familiar faces =.=" i was there for the third time though =X so had my test, hmm.. lets see,

haha i got a silver =) and best thing is i was 5th in the cohort today for 2.4 with a timing of 10.57 min. haha, anth improvement and best thing is i got a silver, that is 2 months off NS =) but it was done with lots of luck though but then i am still damn happy,

oh ya, today was also the day when IE my FYP company come down to TP Wai CHeng and Cindy our project supervisor and their Deputy Director came down to see our project. and so me, teng feng, louis and yi hui gt NAPFA thus we left zen and fazillah to present the project to our visitor. and aft running our 2.4 we went back to e-biz and they had finished their presentation. according to them IE the Deputy Director was very impressed with what we had done =)in other words she was very happy with us thus our proj had now successfully been handed over =) and they brough Old Chang Kee de chicken wing, curry puff, spring roll and soft drink over. so we had a min celebration over there and we are totally happy that our project had been such a success =) back to POT sian =(

well, juz when i though almost all proj are down.

Then pop out so many proj!!!! MP documentation, POT problem 2. This are enough to kill us. my group i mean.. submission is on monday and i seriously hope we can complete it in time. oh no we had to complete it in time if not.... i wouldn't want to think of it. One good news though, the POT strategy game that will determine 20% of our POT grade, haha my group managed to top 3 out of 5 round. the remaining 2 rounds are to be played next week. haha, at least the hard work we put in didn't go to waste. everyone were to take home one chapter of the book, write notes on it and then shared with the rest of the grp memebers. after that the remaining chapters were circulated around one another until everyone read finish. ya it was tesious but we are now reaping the benefits, we are able to play the game well now and got score of 100, 91 and 99 for the 3 rounds. haha, it was always so anxious when the tutor is processing our decisons in the game then flashing out the result. the result wil suddenly without warning pop out then we will be looking for the score. it was brain consuming thinking of the strategy and decisions to make and the anxiety from seeing the result but i guess it was all worth it =) tommorrow is the POT forum lecture which i find waste of time, i rather do major project. but then compulsory. pray hard my group and i can finish everything tommorrow =)

hi peeps, tis morning went with yi hui for our NS Medical Screening, well.. so swei... reach Tam MRT, the mrt station not operating coz gt one train spoil, so me and yi hui had to take bus to tanah merah mrt, and becoz of the morning jam, it took us 45 min from tam to tanah merah O.o then took mrt to red hill, took bus 145 reach there, on the way so many student came up the bus, look like school bus rather than SBS bus, reached at 10.40 onli stil early, then not much ppl, oooo nt bad , then told bad news, the medical screening close at 11 for lunch break and will onli resume at 1 O.o me and yi hui was like WTH. then bo bian went eat lunch at their canteen but e food sucks la... we could be there damn early la juz that becoz of the stupid mrt!!! then saw Azri and terence there but they finish le. so at 1 started e test, eye test, hearing test, blood test, urine test, dental check, chest x-ray, then blood pressure all those shit, then finally e result, i gt A for everything except for color blindness which is Partial Colorblind =X so i am Pes B, "Fit for most operational Training" hmm... i wonder wat unit i wil get...

oh btw i hav finally completed my New Year shopping haha..

haha... spend a bomb man, but then i guess worth it ba O.O the shopping was span across 4 weekend man, 1st week went bugis, AMK hub, Far East can't find any. 2nd weekend went Vivo city, heeren and cineleisure got the vest, tee and jeans, 3rd weekend went causeway point gt the shirt and tie then finally last weekend went heeren and got my belt and brooch. phew.. at least tis year CNY shopping wasn't done on last day, i rmb last year my CNY shopping was done at the end of the OTBS submission and CNY was that week OMG, scary man.. haha

Oh ya last sunday went to darling uncle house because her cousin Roy which is my "Best Friend" birthday party =X so me and darling got for him a Ocean Pacific Pencil Case and a Billabong Wallet, well, practical thing to get for a Primary 5 boy. have a delicious lunch there, after which me and darling proceeded to town to walk walk and find my belt.

ooo.. juz came back frm a jog.. seriously, it had been so long since i went for a jog, reali miss e days when i came back from a jog, red face, red body, sweating and just going for a bath and came out refreshed.... shiok =)

ppl had been coming up with new year resolution, i didn't thought of any, but only one came to my mind. Get a silver for my NAPFA test. i already gt a bronze but that wasn't gd enough, i nd a silver to exempt 2 months from NS. and i wan to get that. tmr wil be my 2nd test, but i dun think i wil pass it though lol.. guess i wil stil go for a 3rd round =X but then i shall make sure i am well prepared if i nd to go for a 3rd round. it wil be at least 2 work out session in a week. hope i can keep to that, seriously my fitness had went dwn, i nd my fitness back and my body back!!!! i missed my body though lol.

it is now 1.50am... most ppl would be soundly asleep but here i am typing the report away. oh.. so tired but still got to do the boring report... not only me, my groups and i had been slogging for the proj for the past few week.. especially the stupid and redundant proj... POT. its crap...

anyway the week aft term test there is supposingly a 2 weeks break.. yippie.. but then sadly it had already been booked for proj coz MP proj deadline coming up T_T so many proj so little time.. lack of slp tis few days and so tired... not only me but my grps too... and then no much time to spend wif my Darling but she oso busy with her proj and stuff and i guess her proj problem are worse than me ba. normally i would loo for ward to the end of sem to relax.. but i can't.. coz end of sem signal NS.. which means time wif Darling are seriously cut short =/ so sian... nowadays i am so bz that i gt no time to go cut my ahir.. its so god damn long nw and i dun hav spare time to visit kimage.. hai...

Term test coming up anyway.. wish me luck and guess i return to my report le ah...

woohoo.. its finally my birthday liao haha... happy 19 to me... lol...in 365 days i would be turning 20.. oh my gosh !!!!! haha... so i reserved this vv special day juz for my darling onli =).. and i'm glad i did as i had such a wonderful time with her =D

the night before my birthday i went to my darling house to hav dinner... haha... then darling originally wanted to give me a surprise.. coz she went collect cake wan pass to the restaurant then come meet me, but then the cake shop make for her e wrong cake... instead of a prince she gave her a prncess... my darling was so angry.. then she no choice gt to bring the cake and meet me... so i saw e cake and e surprise is over.. haha.. darling dun be sad k.. i am vv happy u wanted to give me a urprise.. juz that the stupid cake shop spoil it.. lol... so went to darling house to hav dinner.. then aft that ate e cake juz that nv blow candle...

we had a vv full lunch there... but becoz juz the 2 of us... juz eating some dishes had already made us vv full le.. we had rosti and pizza... but that is already enough to make us groan le.. lol...

so aft e lunch at vilage.. we went to catch our movie at cineleisure.. gt popcorn and drinks the went in for our movie... We are wathcing lust caution.. disappointing movie choice by me =X then aft the movie me and my darling went for NEOPRINTS!!!! haha... altogether we took 2 sets... juz that time dun permit us for another 1.. coz we had made reservations for dinner so we can't take another 1...

taking neoprint at heeren is vv worth it coz as long as nobody is using the machine.. u can decorate your photo for as long as u wan haha... so me and my darling spend vv long time decorating the photos =X

so aft the neoprint session my darling went to Taka to get me a replacement birthday cake since yest the 2pid cake shop spoil it.. then we went to "Absolute Haven" opposite Paradiz center to had our dinner.... the ambience and food there is simply splendid... the service is of top class and i definitely enjoy my night there.. my darling ordered the speciality there "Chicken Roulade" while i had the "Tenderloin Steake" for side dish we had the "Calamari" so before the food arrive we had our photo taking session again =P

tmr hari raya liao... aldy schedule to do breaker for sat at escape, most likely on sunday i wil oso b working breaker too... so mot likely wil be all chinee crew on sat and sun... its gonna be a long day tmr at work...

on wed the 08 peeps had a pre birthday celebration for me and fiz at far east Ramen Ten. but before that i had a proj meeting at sch with my fyp grp mates. in the end the roj ended at 5 p.m then me and yi hui took 518 to far eat to meet e peeps. there were avril, keith, kesh, darling, alvin, jia hao, si hui and fiz + yi hui and me. so we had ramen dinner there, then aft the dinner the peeps sang me and fiz the birthday song then presented us with the ang bao and the birthday oreo cheese cake. so we took photos there then proceeded to cuppage party world to sing. fiz, darling and me sang til 11 then we went off to catch public transport home. o i send my darling home before making my way home...

thanks peeps for the hong bao and the nice dinner.. =). yay 8 more days to my birthday =p

Intestine virus infection..

my last post was like 1 month ago???

sorry guys, had been reali busy with stuff that i had neglected my blog.. today was an off day.. not becoz i wanted a break, but because i was diagnosed with intestine virus infection.. thus was granted MC to stay at home and rest.. had been vomiting and making regular trips to the toilet since yesterday.. was feeling well at all.. body aching... fever... and a cramped stomach... hai... it had been so long since i was tis sickk.. reali got no mood for anything.. whatever i eat will just come out from my body in the next 30min.. so yest night my bro drove me to Changi General hospital to see the doctor, was given some medication pluz 2 day mc to stay at home.. then yest during midnight i woke up again and throw up all over my toilet door mat.. didn't make it to the toilet in time.. end up i spend 20 min to wash the mat and clean the floor then went back to slp... today was feeling much better at least i'm not throwing up my food again.. juz regular trip to the toilet... hopefully i will recover soon. coz it reali sucks to be sick...

btw i will be starting on my FYP proj next week.. so will be in sch earlier than the rest of the people who start sch next month.. haha..

wth... pasir ris reali reeks of mosquito.. nw my upper body are all covered with mosuitoes bites... and the bites are damn red and u noe wat.. they doesn't go away.. my body is nw full of red dots... due to the fact that i always sleep half naked at home.. thats why my upper body are full of those bites... hoperfully wont kena dengue.. juz that my body is damn itchy and the sight of e red dots are damn disgusting... so nw i am having a bath every few hours juz to ease the itch and hope the wound faster heal....

i noe it had been so long sinc i blog but life had been reali bz... my dad was admitted to the hospital yest due to piles. yest he keep passing out bowels and large amount of blood was passed out too in the process. mum call me and i rushed dwn to the hospital immediately. aft the scan and so call operation, the doctor say there were 3 piles and in the process of the scanning he saw 3 growth, but still waiting for the report to see whether it is cancerous anot. mayb by wednesday wil noe the result. and the piles are not removed yet, juz tied up to stop e bleeding.. hopefully the report comes out alright.....

it had been so long since i blog... ya.. life had been pretty bz for the past few weeks. gotta go for SIP, gotta work at escape.. gotta go out.. dun even had time to blog. but nt complaining.. life had been pretty much livelier nw and i am enjoying every moment of it =) nw my office had a corner where there is lots of snack there where i can juz munch on.. for the past 2 days had been seated there doing up a scrap book for 3 parting director. so while doing up the scrap book.. my hand wil juz auto go take e sweets and snack to eat. lol... me and my munching tidbits kaki jessie juz keep tempting each other with the food. lol.. then today finally complete e scrap book le. then cheryl treated me to breakfast at mac yest, haha. so nice of her. then tis 2 days had been reali bz with the ongoing air talks.. i gotta help out in setting up both meeting room and most of the time i am directing what is to be done as i had done e belgium air talks thus they are leaving it to me. it was reali tiring to be getting the stuff frm ard e company and making sure evrything is okay but time pass fast and a sense of satisfaction upon me when everything is completed =) czech republic air talks ended yest and today is e start of the hong kong air talks and i guess tmr e hong kong air talks shall be over. and today my LO came over to check wif my supervisor hw i was doing and my manager mag nicely gave me and ying ying a full mark =D but it was nt graded la.. haha. but it was nice of her...

tis week gt to noe a few TP intern in CAAS. they are situated in the IS dept, coz i was having some problem with my laptop e lan network, hus i called up the IS dept and they send someone over. so in e end i noe 1 male and 1 female intern.. but i stil didn;t get their name yet. lol. and for the past 2 day i was involved in the belgium air talks between CAAS and Belgium air. i helped out in setting up the meeting room and tidying it everytime they finished a meeting, making sure it is ready for them after they come back for lunch for another meeting agn. Yesterday i can only leave at 6.40 =( then today finally they finished e air talks, so we clear up the meeting room, all e flags, coffee machine, water machine all clear from the room. Then had to bring the stuff back to office. and did i tell u guys i muz reach work at 8.30 to collect the snack for their meeting from bengawan solo, then get the key frm my supervisor table to open up the lounge and meeting room, and try to set up everything before she come, lol. but today before i reach home my supervisor did text me an sms of thanks, lol.

Saturday was at escape, doing floater shift. but i find that it can oso reali be damn tiring. but 1 thing is e time pass faster.. i was helping out at kiddy track, it was so hot and then e car so many problem, i change e battery le still lidat, in e end is spoil, sian... waste so much of my time.. then nd to take down e queue post and stuff, in e end nazrul vv kind, let me knock off at 8. was damn tired la.. sunday gotta work morning oso, do B-Track, but gt rain for half of the day la, which is gd. then when go home, was damn tired.. took a nap b4 having steamboat for dinner. for mother's day ma. then i give my mum hongbao, since e original of treating dinner was replaced by the steamboat. haha. tmr gotta work which is damn sian la. hai... but i think e raining season is tarting aldy.. which is gd if i am working =)

one thing is i wont cut my fringe even again, coz it onli lasted 2 weeks, nw, my hair had to go to the side again, haha. so i wil nv cut even fringe agn.. and i wan go dye hair.. colour suggestion anyone?

reali having monday blues nw... today when at work, was like so sleepy, that when i sit down, i cant help but doze off, for 2 min or smth i wil doze off. it was like ongoing for e whole day?? was damn uncomfortable. and coincidentally, today was my manager Magdalene birthday, the whole AT team had a cake ready and was celebrating for her.. and then today for lunch e whole AT team had lunch at the club house, whose treat i does not noe but it was a fun lunch, for e farewell of keleen and denise who are quitting soon. then for e second half of e day, same thing, juz keep wanting to doze off. haha.. but stil can tahan =p

Actual CAA event

Ha, yest was e actual CAA event for my Air Transport department. so morning, i met ying ying at 8.30 at city hall mrt then proceeded to look for raffles the plaza. as the meeting place is at Ya Kum. then me and ying ying found the place and sat there waiting for the rest to arrive. slowly, they cam one by one, by 10.30, all ad arrived then we made our way up to the ballroom. we sat around the ballroom, waiting for the person to finish setting up and also to wait for the trophy and door gift to arrive. when the door gift arrived, we had to tag them then place it on the dining table for each table nicely. aft that we had lunch which was chicken rice and drinks from Mos burger. aft that proceeded to the hotel room to change into cozt and tie and the ladies oso slowly went up to change too. coz the event is starting at 7. by then e whole place is do up. and the guest is slowly arriving. and i was tasked with checking with the photographer whether the required photos are taken aldy nt and he is one friendly guy. during the event, i along wif jessie, ying ying and 2 guys had to deliver the door gift to the minister table, which is the most important table of all. and then collect it back aft the activity. by the time e event end, it was already 11. we took some staff photo and we are done for the night. then i took cab home wif stella as we live around the same area and e cab is company pay de =D so by the time i reach home is about 11.30.. shower then slp liao... then cheryl told me to report for work at 10 today. then time-off count anth day, haha. so nice. overall its a gd experience to participate in tis event and i met lots of big shots, chairman or senior manager from different airline. haha.

CAA Award

Tis few day i had been doing rerport for my supervisor, had almost been infront of the laptop for e whole day doing and rushing the report for CAA (Changi Airline Award). tmr is the actual event so i am suppposed to help out at the event.. so tmr i wont be going to Changi airport but raffles the plaza immediately to prepare and for the actual event in the vening.. wish me luck ppl..

Shall recap.. thursday was 2E07 class chalet.. so pop over to the chalet at downtown at ard 6.45. reach there, they were already barbequeing and some of them were playing cards.. stay awhile, then they say scissor dun hav, then had the idea of going my house take, terence drive me back to my house with jeff and hafiz to get it. i took a bathe then took the scissor and tongs then terence proceeded to drive me back to the chalet. then along the way jeff thought of midnight steamboat, then drive me back to my house to ask abt the steamboat wok and maggie mee and pots, took pots and maggie and chopstick and spoon but no steamboat wok as my mum dun trust me with it.. then proccede to jia hao house as he agree to lent us it.. then aft that proceeded back to downtown to meet up wif amanda then to the chalet. was eating the barbeque food and bz barbequeing. then jeff, fiz, terence and amanda went out agn to giant to get mid night steamboat food while i stay back at the chalet with the rest of them. then something happened which i dun wanna mention and reali disgust me completely. but stil it was stil a eventful and memorable chalet for the right stuff. in the end only me, fiz, jeff, terence, xinyi, theresa and imelda stay over at the chalet. was having fun playign cards then followed by playing of truth or dare game and then steamboat. during the true or dare game came out lots of info that reali make it worth staying over the night but yea the people staying over make it great. then me proceeded home at 5.50 a.m. initially wanted to take cab home but damn, there is no cab in sight, in the end took bus home and reach home at 6.30. then bathe le proceeded to take ride from dad to go work. no sleep at all =x

was getting scolding frm dad abt going work without enough sleep and should had just took day off. when at work immediately make a vv strong tea to drink, when doing computer work was like cant keep my eyes open.. then procceded to make anth cup of strong tea. by mid afternoon was feeling better, was doing more physical work like moving boxes and it prevented me from feeling sleepy. for lunch, grace, amoy and alex treated me and rong hao to lunch. grace drove us to a hongkong restaurant at toa payoh. and then ordered a big plate of steamed chicken, roast pork, char siew, roast duck, a big bowl of dumpling soup and chicken rice for all. it was a rosy lunch with it raining heavily outside. there was lots of chatting with each other and that reali brings subordinate and supervisor closer. aft the lunch, grace drive us back to the company. me and rong hao continue with the boxes all the way until 5.30. finsihed with all the stuff then bidded goodbye to grace, amoy and alex as it is our last day. so nw it is finally aft work. took bus 40 at aljunied mrt station to go to katong then walk to marine parade to meet up with vril, keith, cheng, jia hao, alvin, li te and si hui for avril pre-bday celebration.

met them up at mac, had dinner there and lots of crapping then headed over to katong KTV. sing our hearts out over there all e way til 11. took lots of photo, had some scare with the microphone. initially wanted to extend 1 more hour and wait for yi hui but it was fully booked so too bad =X then cheng, li te and jia hao proceeded to play lana t high while me, alvina nd keith proceeded home. when i reach home, was totally shagg, bathe, check mail thn slp.. was damn tired with no slp for 48 hours =X, reali surprised that i actually can survive so long..

internship placement

today took off from work, tmr also took the morn half day off, coz nd to go sch tis two day.. today need to go sch for Student Internship Program (SIP) launch.. so nd to be in sch by 8.45, and need to wear formal... so being me, i juz chose a shirt and a jeans and grab along my crumpler bag and hop off to sch. vril said that i m damn informal, esp wif the crumpler bag, lol. reach sch, almost the whole lecture theatre all wear formal, except a few, me being 1 of the minority, but the lecturer dun seem to care so it was alright, so the whole morning was briefing by the lecturer and watching a short video introducing us to SIP and mind u, the video was taken 6 years ago O.O then aft the morning briefing, it was time to meet up with my liasion officer (LO).. hafiz, vril n me had the same LO so we 3 went to class together and then my LO Go Seng Bin was addressing us 1 by 1, giving us our log book, and telling us our job scope, the company we are gonna work at and who to report to on first day.. and coincidentaly, ying ying who is in my Year 1 class is gonna be in the same dept as me, with the same supervisor, and i see my job scope le, lots of programming and stuff =X, vv sian.. then vril and hafiz is in the same dept, so we 3 being in the same company can report for work together on first day.. and hopefully can lunch together haha. so my working hours are : Mon - thur (8.30-18.00) fri: (8.30- 17.30), no work on sat and my pay would be $440. haha, hopefully it wil be a fun 16 weeks.. tmr i wil nd to report to sch at 9 for excel training =.= then it would end at 12, so aft that i think i wil go lunch wif the guys then make my way to SPH since i took half day off onli..

hi, recently bought myself a pair of new canvas shoe. from Levis, if u bought it a the Levi's shop, it would cost around $60++, so i went to OG wif my mum and dad, thinking of walking to Bugis to take a look at the shoe, but i caught eye of it at OG, and it is currently having a 30% discount =D, so in the end i bought the shoe for $40, haha. It does not had shoe laces and i think it does pair up nice with my white canvas bag too, haha.. think i should be getting a Watch soon, caught my eye on a Fossil watch, haha, think i look at more other watch before i make my decision ba...

Sunday morning went for tomb-sweeping day. headed over to choa chu kang cemetery wif my family for the traditional tomb-sweeping of my grandpa tomb. a yearly affair that i won't miss as i am hailed by many as the grandchildren that my grandpa dote on most. this year had lesser people, juz my uncles and their family, my aunties didn't came tis time round, and this year it was rather cool, so the weather was just nice. shortly aft we left when walking towards the car, it started to drizzle abit and luckily we gt into the car fast but damn, we are surrounded by cars, being a 2 lane road, it was cramp with lots of car on the left lane coming in, but stil my dad manged to get us out of the jam with a turn in the middle of the lane, lots of reverse and turning and we are facing the direction out and off home, with lots of cars still waiting to come in, lol. then afternoon headed over to orchard to meet janice, eugene, jaime, wendy and yoke sun. Jaime wil be leaving for china for her OSIP the following day thus a mini gathering for her. aft walking for a long time, we headed over to Ajisen for dinner. the ramen there were fabulous together with side-dish, juz that taka branch the shop is rather small and we waited 20 min for a table. aft dinner li ting came over to meet us aft training and we headed to look for Jaime marker pen needed for her OSIP and after getting them, we headed over to Outside taka for some photo then headed home, it was a fun sunday =)

Pizza

today went to work as usual, had peanut butter bread for breakfast, then do some filing, sorting, data entry, lol. same old procedure, damn boring. then for lunch, we had a gathering of pizza for yi peng who is having his last day tmr. btw, he is my cousin who is 2 years younger than me, lol. then we had canadian pizza in the orange room, peeps include jace, susan, lynette, zana, joey, elijah, joelle, lavin, rong hao, me and one guy and girl i forgot e name. then aft the filling lunch, count money =.= counted a total of 15k today, haha. by then nearly time to go home le. then lavin going to tam ikea but she waiting for her friend, so went to get my dinner then walk walk wif her at tm until her friend come then go off le. tmr think going town wif yi peng, lol. then gaathering wif terence, amanda, hafiz and jeff next friday!! and gathering wif AF for jaime tis sunday =)

drifting

drifting away frm AF, nt included in anything, noe nuts abt things, that is a reali bad feeling to had but that is wat i am feeling nw, how do u feel if u are not included or informed about anything, and people juz dun bother to inform u abt stuff.. seriously quite disappointed with them, whom i had know for e past 6 years.

anyway, life stil goes on, work had never get more boring, me and rong hao juz stare at the clock every now and then, wishing 6 o clock come faster. quitting on the 13 of april, date confirmed, and i saw a reali nice tee on a mag, it is sold at town so anyone free, chio me out go town. today SPH had tis 2pid fire drill which is damn lame, we gathered at the carpark for 15 min, listened to the safety officer, and people there smoking or reading mag or chatting, damn comic the scene. tmr is thursday, end of the weekcoming again, which is a gd thing. this sunday going to the tomb of my grandpa, seriously do miss my grandpa alot, eventhough he passed away when i was primary one, i stil had fond memory of him being the one that dotes on me the most. guess family is the only one that won;t drift away frm you...

outing

today as usual went to work, then during work was feeling rather bored then thought that i haven had a gathering wif jia min and joana for a long time so msg jia min, asking her when wanna meet up, actually decided on tis friday de, then joana cant make it, so in e end settle on today. so met them at 6.30 at bugis. met jia min first at bugis, then we walked around, then sat outside a cafe call DeToast, since they didn't had much customer so we sat there waiting for joana, then tis bloody Indian which is a staff there, came to us, he said we cant sit here for free and he juz sat there and keep kpkbing, in the end we walk off. tis is wat i call bad customer service, if he had said nicely to us, i would had bought something and continue sitting there. that is a shitty place la, made me and jia min so mad. then we went to pastamania to sit as we decided to had our dinner there and waited for joana there. my treat, and i think me and jia min gt abit sick of the carbonara and creamy chicken we had. aft the dinner, we had a walk around parco then we went to bugis village. joana gt herself a nice dress there. by then it was aldy 9+, so we decided to made our way home liao, as me and joana had work next day. stil we went to giant or shop and save at Parco to get joana biscuit for breakfast and jiamin gt herself cereals and milk. as me and jia min lived at the same area, we took the same transport, by the time i reached home, woo~ 10++ feeling tired liao... and anth outing soon with the 2 girls ba. drinks? lol

Stomach ache

today had triple stomach ache at work, guess it muz had been becoz of the mee bandung i ate yest at alfresco, coz it was significantly more oily. eek, lucky it didn't affect my lunch appetite. then aft work, i proceeded to potong pasir MRT station to go to Kovan then took bus to the punggol clinic, my queue number was 26, and the number on the plate is 19, waited for a freaking 45 min b4 it was my turn, took 3 weeks worth of medicine, and he said he wil be giving me cream on the next visit, hopefully by that ime wil be much better and he did say my condition improve le. and i certainly hope so. then took bus 89 back home and tadah.. tired~
